DESTILACIONES BORDAS CHINCHURRETA, SA is producing and improving since 20 years ago the manufacturing process and quality of the valued rosemary antioxidant, BORDANTIX® derived from the Rosemary plant. Due to its synergic nature as it is a mixture of rosemary components (among others Rosmarinic Acid, Carnosol, Rosmaridiphenol, Rosmaridiquinone, Carnosic Acid, Rosmanol) with antioxigenic properties, that causes an additional antioxidant capacity of the constituents themselves and enhances the synergic effect caused by each one on the rest.

Due to this, BORDANTIX® has an antioxidative activity comparable to other synthetic and natural antioxidants available in the market.

This antioxidant has also excellent heat stability and remains stable during the most drastic methods employed in the refinement of fats as well as during frying and cooking.
