Diosmin, a key flavonoid in pharmaceutical formulation<\/b><\/p>\n

At Bordas we obtain the flavone <\/span>Diosmin<\/span><\/a> from Hesperidin, a flavonoid found naturally and in high concentrations in citrus fruits. Our Hesperidin comes from the extraction of the sweet orange (citrus sinensis), and from it, Diosmin.<\/span><\/p>\n

Its outstanding properties are its cardiotonic, antithrombotic, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

Neohesperidin DC: sweetens, masks and enhances.<\/b><\/p>\n

Neohesperidin Dihydrochalcone, also called <\/span>Neohesperidin DC<\/span><\/a>, is an intensive sweetener based on Neohesperidin, a natural flavanone obtained from citrus fruits, especially Seville bitter orange (Citrus aurantium).<\/span><\/p>\n

This sweetener has the power to mask bitter taste, which makes it particularly interesting for supplementing drug formulations and other nutraceutical or dietary products such as vitamins or minerals.<\/span><\/p>\n

Neohesperidin Dihydrochalcone has an intense sweetening capacity. It is 1500-1800 times sweeter than sucrose and 20 times sweeter than saccharin.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
