The pharmaceutical industry needs ingredients that offer health and wellness benefits that are effective and safe, in line with increased consumer demand for natural products.
Taking part in CPHI Milan, the benchmark trade fair for the pharmaceutical sector, has once again left us with a good taste in our mouths because, despite not being able to reach all the visitors presenting our key innovations in the sector due to the large number of visitors, we did have the opportunity once again to strengthen the link with customers who already trust us, to learn about their concerns and to share space with conversations of great value on both a professional and personal level.
Main topics of interest at CPHI Milan
The main topics of conversation that took place at the fair can be grouped into three main blocks. On the one hand, the growing interest in the pharmaceutical sector in products that help to modulate the taste of the final result, as well as ingredients that help to complete formulas designed for antioxidant treatment, and, most notably, the production of efficient products for the treatment of chronic venous insufficiency.
Among the different applications we present, we once again stand out for being European leaders in the manufacture of Diosmin, an ally in the care of cardiovascular health. Diosmin, obtained mainly from the Sweet Orange, has cardioprotective and venotonic properties, as well as anti-inflammatory properties, acting directly on circulation and microcirculation. In this aspect, and with the aim to continue being a reference in the sector, from Bordas we know that we have the responsibility to anticipate what the market demands, for this reason we are working on the provision of key elements that help to overcome the levels of effectiveness of the products involved in pathologies such as these.

From Bordas we can say that our participation in the CPHI Milan fair has had very positive results, but we also know that we cannot lower our guard, we must continue to build.
